More creepy cocktails for spooky month!
What You'll Need:
-Favorite red dessert wine of your choosing (I used Kikkoman Plum Wine)
-1 dash of Angostura bitters (I specifically used cranberry bitters, but I know not everyone just has that laying around)
-1 shot of grenadine
-2 shots of strawberry Dragon Fire (Good luck finding this one too. The only place I've ever seen it is the World Market If you're not able to find it, I would recommend using muddled (crushed) fresh strawberries or raspberries instead, along with edible glitter. Edible glitter is easy enough to find, you can find it at most craft stores that offer a culinary section.)
-1 fancy wine glass
-ice (optional. I know it's uncommon wine etiquette to put ice in it)
Step 1: (optional)
Place a couple ice cubes in the wine glass. It's hard to tell, but I used cool skull ice cubes. If ice is undesired, skip this step.
Step 2:
Add a dash of Angostura bitters, followed by 2 shots of Dragon Fire, then 1 shot of grenadine to the wine glass.
Step 3:
Pour in the wine and fill it nearly to the top. Give it a quick stir.
Dragon Fire contains edible glitter, so as the liquid spins it will be all sparkly as it flows around and looks cool, like those potion bottles you shake up at Ren Faires. You will need to keep swishing it around to keep the effect going which is why it works best with wine since you're supposed to swirl it around anyway.
