I've had this concept floating around in my mind for a while now, as this response keeps springing to mind every time I see some haughty social media post from someone who thinks I'm not afforded the same rights because I may vote differently or acknowledge a Higher Power. Such posts pre-suppose a vital mistake: that the demographic being attacked is not only small, but insanely stupid, when reality suggests the opposite. Granted, I don't reply to such posts, because there's no winning, but this reply still flashes through my mind. And I don't make political posts as a rule, because I actually understand that you don't come my way for political opinion (I'd make a lousy actor). This skirts pretty close, admittedly, but it's peripheral enough that it shouldn't be considered too controversial. If you ever get stuck in one of those arguments where the other guy on line falls back on attacking your intelligence because he has no real argument, however, feel free to use this image in your response.

So why did I post this? Because it was next in the file.
