Yes, yes, $10 is the base price, but the base price covers:
Single four-limbed character (tail not counting as a limb), colored and shaded, with simple props/clothing.
Extras include: Excessive clothing, excessive props, adult theme, extra limbs (wings, extra arms/legs etc) and background.
Pricing for those is subjective, as some things are easier to draw for me than others.
