Ah heck, look at these silly nerds being cute! I got a new sticker pack from Crowned Victory and absolutely love it!
It's been a long time since I got Telegram stickers from anyone, and after winning a slot for a stream commission from Crowned Victory, I wanted to see a bunch of varied ideas from the awesome artist, with many of the ideas being artistic liberty and us deciding early on to have Mello dressed in his optional nerdy attire too! Watching these be done live with back-and-forth feedback was a lot of fun, and I'll link to the Telegram pack (which will also include any newer sticker additions and a credits sticker) further below. Thank you so much, Crowned Victory; both Mello and Felix look really adorable here, and I'll definitely make use of these varied moods in online discussions!
For Mello, we first have a stereotypical hipster depiction where he's drinking a freshly brewed drink from a lovingly decorated ferret cup; the scarf addition in particular works really well, so much so that it became a permanent optional accessory in my latest reference sheet of him! Second, we have him being an excited gaming nerd as he plays a classic Sonic the Hedgehog game on the retro Sega Game Gear system, although nobody tell him just how many batteries he'll likely need in the future for that. Third, we can see him blushing at someone handsome or pretty in the distance, possibly seeing a really attractive jock at his local gym or something, who knows? Fourth, there's the innocent Mello being more blatantly labeled as a heckin' nerd, which is... absolutely true, but don't make fun of him for it... too much! Fifth, he must have gotten annoyed with a fellow programmer not taking his concerns about the Year 2038 Problem seriously or something, because he sure looks unamused in that sticker.
And for Felix, there first is him pondering something with lots of clouds present for visual effect; can you take a guess as to what he's thinking about? Second, we have him being absolutely not amused at a cringy joke being told, hence the stop sign; at least, that's what I assume it's for, since I can't imagine him being very good at roadwork. Third, ever since he got extremely into Baldur's Gate 3 on the PlayStation 5, totally not beating it multiple times, he's been occasionally reading more into the lore behind the iconic fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons; he doesn't have a character yet, but I like to imagine that he would be a cleric Tabaxi. Fourth, he's cleaning his iconic frames to a precise degree again; he could just instead save up for laser eye surgery, but then he wouldn't look nearly as cool around his friends or at local club hangouts now, would he?
