The ancient land of Solora is under siege - not by invading raiders or wicked armies, but by the forces of darkness. The Vampire King has re-awaken & blanketed the sky in a shadowy veil, blocking the sun from touching these lands. His minions have begun to ravish the land & contort its people. His evil horde rules the night.

On the first night of the golden moon, The Vampire King had kidnapped 7 maids - the descendants of the 7 witches who created him, and he plans to drink their blood in order to regain his dark powers & rule the world.

The only hope humanity has left is a young man & vampire hunter, Jango Fox. His whip, woven in sunlight, is the only known weapon that can cast the undead back to their tombs & bring peace across the land.

Since October is here, I REALLY wanted to draw something Castlevania-like. And while I might make a proper Castlevania pic later, I decided to do something more self-indulgent.

Designing the count was pretty fun, but I think the real center piece of this is the 'seven maidens' over there, all hoping for their hero to come & save them.
