A'Kal debuted at ConFurence 10. He is made entirely out of NFT fur (http://www.nftech.com/). This stuff is not cheap - the fur alone cost me $1000! And the prices are higher now. But, it's all 100% nylon, which means it's easy to dye. And, it;a four-way stretch fur. Very comfortable to wear. He also has blinking eyes, though they weren't working very well at that time.
