I've wanted one of these swords for ages, but they cost so bloody much. $600. But I was lucky enough to find one for auction on eBay (From the exact same distributor I was looking at!) and for it for $200 plus postage. So way :D

I want to point out that any old boring katana doesn't really catch my eye, but this one did. You'll see in the next pic.....

that things better be worth the price...because you can get a lot of crap when it comes to katanas sold by distributors

Yeah, I know. Most of them are cheap folded steel duds. This is the real deal, though :D

full tang? how many folds? what type of metal? if you don't mind my asking. I just don't want to see someone screwed over

Full tang, yes. The specs don't say how many folds. And the blade is made from 1075 Spring Steel, clay tempered to approx. 65HRC with red titanium infusion. Twin pegs down the handle and tang for strength.
