Rudy - a co-authored sci-fi story
*smiles... You might remember my TP journal about working with another writer.
Jyoo_C_Froot and I were already talking about giving it a try around and about that time. I've known JC for a long time now.
For me, this is fun. When you find the right partner, it's more than simply hitting a ball back and forth across a net. In this case, we both like sci-fi, so there you go. It did take us a bit to hammer out our procedures, but eventually it came together.
If you like this, please let us know as that does help keep things going.

This gave me "Alien" vibes: people being sent to a distant planet for excavation, only to be ill-prepared for the dangers, and the superiors not caring. I got the impression that Rudy descends on ruins and wants to know what made the place such. I can't help wondering when Sam and MAVIS are in the same room, whether their physical forms will have an epic fight that could make a new crater or simulate an animal's entire mating season.
*laughs... your last thought caught me off guard, and I liked it. Being the way I wriite, I can't even tell you what 'might' happen, because I don't know. I did mention to JC that I didn't trust Mavis but, again, I don't know what will happen until it does.
Thanks for the read...

The story was fantastic! I love the setting, and the characters so far. Giving AI some personality does help (which is I'm sure a lot of AI are given personality). I was kinda hoping he'd find another human still alive but maybe that just isn't the case.
All in all, a great start! I can't wait to see more!

You two have a strong premise going here. I'm curious for more.
I noticed that Vixyy's style is adapting to JCF's, making it harder to tell where her portions start and end. I love seeing such efforts by an author. It means they're dedicated to expanding their skills and range as a writer.
Good work you two!

"Vixxy doing Sci Fi?" was my first thought.
Then, it became, "Rudy, the anti-social ex-spec-op survives a corporate murder and inherits his own space sta..."
Then it (very quickly) became, "OOH... This is INTERESTING..."
Considering I read Pt. 2 already, this is absolutely top-notch sci fi, my friend. Keep going!
