A friend of mine is really into the lore of my fictional company SimmTech and has her character (Cirrus) working there as one of the engine mechanics in the automotive division.

I don't know how the idea came up, but somehow we got the idea of Cirrus having to work on a nuclear submarine that happened to need service. While many companies would probably hire practiced divers with the skills they needed, the acting manager that day (Cammy) came up with another idea that would save some time and money. She went over to the R&D labs and picked up a box of lightly cursed shark transformation amulets. No need to train divers if you can get your employees to breathe underwater!
This is how Cirrus learned that SimmTech may not be the safest place to work. Also that they have a transformation lab. Also that transformation is possible. Also that magic exists. It was a big day and she had a long talk with Simm afterwards.
