Like I joked on my X/Bsky posts, it is safe to post art of Typhlosion again, right? Ha ha.

Two days after declaring a break, I forced myself to just move a pencil and do something that should bring me joy. I wanted to draw another Tyhplosion since his design is familiar, a favorite of mine, and simple. However, I was also in a plain old mental rut, so the piece ended up taking an overall moodier tone. Here, the flame spouts on his back are smouldering, and the sunlight is hazy. In hindsight, he almost looks too anthropomorphic. I think I ought to practice my animal anatomy some more.

All in all, I am very much back in a great frame of mind now, and it indeed brings me joy to draw again. Got some cool new art supplies arriving soon, so I'm excited to see where I go with them!
