I concentrated all my power on the crawler approaching the driver side of the truck and let loose. The forceful push was enough to cause the crawler to topple over, taking it out of the fight. I used this opportunity to pounce on the third crawler.

The third crawler had only two bandits. One fully occupied on driving, and the other a gunman. He might’ve already had his sights on me, and the first to fire, but I used my dash ability to quickly drop to the opposite side of the truck, dodging the initial bullets and giving me the split second I needed to think.

I again started concentrating all my power, as slow as it was due to the large exertion just moments ago, and focused them into my movements.

I lept off the truck, initiating my dash before I even hit the ground. I stumbled to find my footing, but I managed to, and zipped around the back of the truck, then the crawler. As those bandits were focused on the truck I once was, they weren't expecting anything coming from behind. I lept on to the back of the crawler's flatbed, and before they realized what was going on, I unloaded my rifle into the unsuspecting bandits.

Some of my bullets must've hit the engine of this crawler too as it started emitting smoke. So, I hastily ran back up to the truck and jumped onto the back to catch my breath.

After a few minutes for my heart to settle down, I climbed along the side of the truck back into the passenger seat. I checked on the driver, but he was unharmed. Hardly his first rodeo. He was more concerned with me however.

But with no bandits in sight, we rocketed through the rest of the desert ground. Not stopping for anything.
