Oswald had thrown Arnie a huge birthday bash at the Iceberg Lounge, and Arnie and Scarface ended up staying there the whole night and into the early morning. Just as Arnie's about to leave, though, it starts to rain. Rather than see the ventriloquist get soaked in the downpour, Oswald gives him one of his favorite umbrellas (and one of the few he owns for the sole purpose of protection from the rain), one that has a swan's head carved into the handle. Of course, Scarface is pissed that he doesn't get one of his own, but Oswald doesn't own any small enough for him... not that he'd offer him one if he did.
