Blunt, sneaky, short tempered, clever, reserved, and pretty shy.

She is part of the littermate cast of arc 2 of my old larp story, A Dying Star along with Firpatch and Creamcloud. They’re kits and apprentices through their arc and become warriors near the very end of their POVs. They spy on a lot of dreams together, and uncover the beginnings of a civil war brewing within their enemy Runningclan that they are on the brink of war with themselves.

Hazeleyes is the troublemaker of the trio. She gets into a lot of trouble with her fellow apprentices, the sisters Crowpaw and Midnightpaw. Increasingly disturbed by Midnightpaw's behavior Hazelpaw stops being her friend, while continuing to be friends with Crowpaw and her other siblings. Little does she know Midnightpaw is romantically fixated on her. Hazeleyes later becomes mates with Tomatotail, one of Midnightsky's brothers. As her ex friend becomes more isolated she becomes more and more fixated on Hazeleyes and begins removing cats she sees as obstacles between them. After a string of mysterious deaths, including 2 of Hazeleyes' younger siblings, Hazeleyes and Tomatotail catch Midnightsky in the act of killing her sister Crowheart and the two are forced to fight her to the death at the end of arc 4.
