In recent years Poni Islands has seen an increase in development that has led to the establishment of Poni Town close to Seafolk Village. It is a small rural town that respects the wildness of Poni Island and is under the vigilance of the Kahuna, but none the less a new addition to Alola's touristic attractions.

While Wanda and Lychee are in their mini vacations at Seafolk Village, they've decided to visit Poni Town and Wanda cannot miss the chance to get a sweet treat while at it.
