This is the opening of Tchaikowsky's 5th Symphony. The introduction is two unison clarinets accompanied by strings. This is often called the "fate motive" and comes back in every movement of the piece, because Tchaikowsky saw his fate as inescapable. It's very dark and somber.
The entire first movement was too big to compress into 10MB and still sound like an orchestra, so enjoy the opening few minutes. ^o^
