"Despite our differenc- oh, wait"_______________________________________________________________________While Sewn was still acclimating towards his newly acquired bat form, he could never quite nail down hanging upside- down. Perhaps he just hasn't figured out how to extend his hindclaws out enough to do so, or maybe the form just didn't have that functionality... yet. He was about to seek out Faulty for advice, though Sewn's close friend, Ranala- who was absolutely engrossed in the form- had another idea.
Well... while Sewn would admit that the stickiness of being turned into a latexian version of themselves did help in this scenario for staying attached to the branch they resided under, he imagined letting go may be a different story entirely. Ranala lightly chuckled and rolled her eyes, taking Sewn's hand in her own and smiling gleefully at them, encouraging them to put that thought in the background and just enjoy the night. Sewn would be one to protest, but when Ranala inadvertently pointed out the vibe of the general area- the cool night air, the gentle breeze, and the shimmering night sky visually beneath them- he couldn't bear to ruin it, especially not with... her.
Sewn would soon gently squeeze Ranala's own hand in return, closing their wings around each other, blanketing the two of them in oddly endearing yet rather addictive comfort._______________________________________________________________________ - © Sewn
