Ah yes, the amazing Maine Skunktaur! The main protagonist in my first ever story, “Fa Ping and Maine”, though it’s no longer canon, but that doesn’t mean the qualities she has shown in that story should not exist, after all, she is a mother, and protecting her child against overwhelming odds is something she’s ready to do.

Maine is the adopted mother of FaPing, the beloved lifemate of Vroeg, and the biological mother of Rena and Chorre.

In my stories, she encompasses everything that a loving mother would have: she is caring, protective, her children’s happiness is her happiness, and she loves FaPing just like her own son, also, she tries to make FaPing feel more comfortable at home, as the boy is a Terra-born, not Chakonian-born. And despite her lack of knowledge in popular games and activities that young people seek, she does try her best to learn…a trait Vroeg also admires.
