So I really dig Shiro's Circe design, and I wanted to get her drawn again. But I was a bit short on ideas on what to have her turn someone into...and when I thought about it a bit more, I realized that there might be some fun in a different tack.
Circe is often portrayed as a villain, but in context of the society she lived in, she was also perhaps one of the first emancipated women portrayed in fiction; certainly, the ancient Greeks were misogynistic, and Circe is a strong independent woman who don't need no men, and has the capacity to handle herself.
And Aikine, well...she's got a personality that would respect that. She herself had to find her own way, and fight a different form of societal pressure that said she wouldn't make a mark. And I figured maybe they could hit it off. Talking about things in common and some differences.
Aside the fact that Asari/Thordani culture has decidedly Greek inspirations in some areas, Circe is canonically a demigod, as Helios the sun god is her father. And Faenya is also a sun god. Circe itself comes from "Kirkos", which in Ancient Greek translates as "hawk" or "falcon" as well. Aikine's culture is a bit matriarchal, so that might be of note. And these gave me an absolute number of ideas for text, but Shiro actually suggested this text and it was so funny I stuck with it.
Probably expect more pictures along this line. I have IDEAS.

Aikine is mine.
Circe is public domain. Homer's authorship of The Odyssey is debated and I'm reasonably sure the copyright is long expired, given he's been dead for 2500 years.
