Definitely a duck this time. Not a goose. What species of duck she(?) might be is another question! (Edit: Probably a female mallard; see the comments.) Anyway, this was taken at Trimpley Reservoir in north Worcestershire. She'd just surfaced after a dive, hence the water running off her bill.

It looks to be just a female mallard duck, though there are a lot of female ducks with those general markings. It seems to be the closest fit, at any rate. I LOVE the reflection and ripples in the water. I think it just makes the picture, honestly. Capturing the water running off her bill was awesome and lucky! This is a wonderful shot.
