I was having a tough lil' day a few days ago, and  Tehweenus posted a journal that, in essence, asked me (everyone really, but I saw it too) a question; "How are you, really?" I answered from a hurt place and received a really really lovely response that was thoughtful, understanding, and sympathetic. It was suggested that we should go and hide under a leaf somewhere for a while. I was so touched by this I felt I had to draw it.

So here we are, Ookami and Croix under a leaf, both quietly sharing the sound of the rain and the cover this arboreal umbrella gives us. A butterfly flies in to share our shelter and illuminates us with its beauty.
