...I had an extremely specific commission idea while at Anthrocon and commissioned somebody who I knew would do it justice.
You know what the fandom seems to be severely lacking in? Clams. I've seen dolphins, moths, and even animals as highly specific as the potoo bird, but I can't recall many if any anthropomorphic clams off the top of my head... so here's me conceptualized as a heckin' clam. I can just imagine my clam form remaining closed and shy until one of his friends brings up a highly specific topic that he's passionate about like the Nier games or something like composite photograms, at which point his shell will quickly pop open and he'll nerd out about the subject for hours on end, flailing his silly arms around half the time. Moving around beyond that may be a bit more difficult though... I suppose he'll just have to get really good at rolling himself around, but you believe in him, right?
Thanks a lot to Chupakaibra for not only speed-doodling my silly idea but also being super excited to do it! I think the end result is both funny but also strangely cute; he's definitely not... clammed up at the moment either, am I right? Anyway, to everybody else reading this, you can find the wonderful artist's other works across this website, her own personal website, as well as on her social media accounts; I highly recommend commissioning her when she's open as well! Have a wonderful rest of the day, everybody!
