Pacifist he may be, but his Wolf blood enjoys a nice fight for survival. Fighting wild animals bare-handed (no pun intended) is fair combat as far as Luca is concerned. Sometimes he concedes battles, if they've done enough damage to him, he leaves the animal be. They earned their win in his eyes.
