Sorry it's been so long since I last posted art. A while back my pens ran out of ink so I wasn't able to work on anything lately but I kept having ideas and now I have tons of new pens (And other new material) to work with and I am very excited to get posting all of the ideas I had stored up over this long hiatus!

“Pirates are evil? The Marines are righteous? These terms have always changed throughout the course of history! Kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values! Those who stand at the top determine what's wrong and what's right! This very place is neutral ground! Justice will prevail, you say? But of course it will! Whoever wins this war becomes justice!”

One Piece has no end of Pirates to reference...seeing as it's the longest continuous anime, and about Pirates. Here I decided to make a pokemon version of one of the most ruthless, heinous characters, The Divine Demon: Don Quixote Doflamingo. It seemed a little too close on the nose to make him a Flamigo, and I felt like Quaquaval just matched his vibe a little closer being flamboyant, and imposing.

Don Quixote Doflamingo was born among the Celestial Dragons, part of the highest elite caste in the One Piece world. They consider themselves something greater than humanity, living isolated from the rest of the world aside from whoever they decide to take as slaves. However as a child Doflamingo's father, a genuinely good Celestial Dragon decided to make the naive move to renounce his status and take his family to live among the people.
Doflamingo hated his father. Because of his father, he lost his status, he would lose his wealth, they learned the hard way what the people really think of Celestial Dragons, and he would also lose his mother to illness. So Doflamingo got a gun and murdered his own father. Years later he built himself from the ground up as one of the most feared pirate Warlords of all time. This man is Pure Evil!
