Another Cotswold Wildlife Park photo, this time from one of the aviaries. This is a Black-headed Weaver, Ploceus melanocephalus. They're mostly to be found in equatorial Africa, and they certainly let you know of their presence, both by the male's striking bright yellow plumage and by their restless activity: they're both energetic and noisy birds. Not the greatest photo, I'm afraid: it was a little blurred, and as such the fairly aggressive sharpening has brought out a fair bit of image noise.
