Decided to make an updated and more collected ref sheet for Bramble.
Info:
Bramble is a type of dragon that's very rare, even by dragon standards. His species lives in large woodland territories and it's entirely normal for them to go centuries between seeing another dragon. As most dragons, his species have elaborate if not outright pretentious names, but theirs are a flattering description of their territory instead of a lot of titles explaining how beautiful and deadly the dragon is. Bramble's full name is Great Forest of the Ridge Along the Shores Where Brambles are Thick and Windflowers are Plenty, but that's a bit of a mouthful so he goes by Bramble.
Bramble shares a lot of similarity in shape and movement with cats and stoats, and is a fast runner and climber, though his species do not fly. Unlike other dragons Bramble and his species tend to have multiple dens spread around their territories with multiple hoards. He tends to prefer hollows high up in tall trees. Bramble's hoards do have a lot of valuables, but he also collects things like neat rocks.
Bramble's snout is very shortened and mostly functions as a beak. The teeth are hidden in his cheeks and don't show when he opens his mouth. Unfortunately for everyone else this means that he makes a lot of mess when eating food like berries. Bramble is white all year round. Dragons have no natural predators and the abundance of berries and seeds to supplement with makes up for the added difficulty of sneaking up on something when you're bright white.
A lot of this is though that he is very much a dragon in a very small round and fluffy body. He's fireproof, extremely resistant to cold, ridiculously more durable than you'd expect something smaller than a housecat to be, and he breathes fire. Narrowing the fire down into such a small body has given it a sort of blowtorch effect though. He also has a limited fear aura going - it works best when people aren't looking at him, but it's an effective way to scare someone out of his territory without engaging. Lots of rumours about hauntings in those woods, but not a single ghost.
Bramble can, like all dragons, speak. He may choose not to sometimes because most people can't tell he's a dragon and not a regular animal of some sort, which makes is easy to avoid talking to someone. Bramble does not have much of a frame of reference for how other people work, or what a normal amount of magic anything is or how unused most people are to dragons and their habits, which tends to lead to misunderstandings.
