“Are you looking down on me right now, God? Can you even see me if I’m not a creation of yours? Your creations certainly see me. And a great many of them see me as an abomination. They say I am an affront to you, that my existence insults and disgusts you. Is this truly? Would there even be a way you could tell me if it is? …Well if it is true, I just want you to know I truly am sorry. I don’t mean to anger you with my existence. That said… I cannot stop, not now. Selfish as it may be, I have grown attached to this life, to the people who see me as more than an abomination. I have come to experience and embrace compassion, friendship, even love. The love of a father, of friends, of a kinda soul that seeks a future with me. I choose to embrace these feelings, this existence, everything. And if this is a true crime in your eyes, then I will respectfully accept whatever punishment awaits me in the end, for I find this limited life of joy and love worth cost.”
