One needs alcohol for the Fourth of July, and this recipe intrigued me.
What You Need!
Tajin Classico seasoning for salting the rim of the glass
12 oz. frozen mango chunkc
5 oz. tequila, preferably blanco (I used Casamigos)
3 oz. fresh lime juice
1 1/2 oz. Cointreau or other orange liqueur
5 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
What You Do!
1. Rub a lime wedge on the rim of the glass and roll it in the seasoning
2. Puree all the ingredients in a blender with 3 cups of crushed ice until smooth and slushy
3. Supposed to serve four, so divide among the prepared glasses
Verdict: Very tasty.
