Summer 27, Year 3

The looking glass into some random world, while it brought Beep to tears with hope he'll get home, was still a long way from actually getting him home.

While Magnus worked on the portal spell, modifying it from the world he had been spectating, Beep worked towards the 'Perfection' that was hinted at in Mr.Qi's Walnut room. What did Perfection mean? Fuck if he knew, but it gave him a goal to work towards while he waited.

One of the things being tracked was the cooking recipes made. Chicken had found a recipe book in a rubbish bin, so Beep had all the recipes. Did he just... make them all? Krobus was done with the kitchen, so he didn't mind Beep and Chicken spending a couple days working on this project. While Beep cooked, Chicken rummaged through the various chests Beep had organised his items. Out of a fish? Chicken was VERY good at that. Somehow they were even able to get fish out of season...? That'd be something to look into later.

One of the many breaks while stuff slowly cooked, Beep loafed on the kitchen rug while Chicken enjoyed some jam cookies. He'd be selling almost all of these dishes, since he didn't have enough space, and any seafood was deadly to him, but some things looked interesting. One such thing was a dairy treat that required a Prismatic Shard, of all things. How did a rock mixed with sugar and milk turn into a rainbow pop? Fuck if he knew. Why did rabbits drop whole feet? How did whole trees grow in a span of a week? Why were there only four months to a year? This world followed odd rules and logic, just as the world Beep came from had it's own rules and logic.

The Prismatic Pop helped significantly with Beep's fatigue, as he continued to recover from his casting of the spell to connect the spell to his mate's essences. Break over, Beep and Chicken got back to cooking. By the time they finished for the day, they had cooked around half the dishes, as far as Beep's record journal could count. The rest required odds and ends that would need planning to collect, and it was slow progress, but it was progress nonetheless!

Gramps never had an heir, or they never show/ed up.
Stardew Valley Expanded; new maps, new NPCs, new events, a LOT of new stuff.
The new “Farmer” is just a Weird Ass Deer. NPCs will respond/react accordingly.
