well after the main character ''Taika'' is humanized (made anthro) he still acts like a dog. when he goes to school with his owner, a girl named Ao, he rushes up to Tsunayoshi (who is more humanized then taika) and asks if he can ''sniff his ass?'' tsunayoshi responds by following Taika into the bathroom and punching him in the face. later however, tsunayoshi defends Taika from a group of school bullies who accuse Taika of biting them (he didn't) and we also learn that Tsunayoshi suffers with PTSD from his time as a police search and rescue dog
