It makes sense to think that you'd get better the more you play a game. But neither me or @makin-bacon.bsky.social expected to get an A rating on EVERY SINGLE LEVEL of one playthrough, bosses included.

Not bad! Of the two mid-game bosses, Black Bull is definitely the more annoying to get an A-rank on, so it's good that you got at least one of those out of the way. Who'd you fight as the end boss? If it was Diablon, then further kudos.
Now, here's the real question... are you up for getting A-ranks on every mission of every level and every instance of every boss fight?
As someone who's been there it's definitely doable and more reasonable IMO than doing so in, say, Sonic Adventure 2 (freakin' Lost Chao missions).
