Hee-Ho, howdy everyone! Today I bring you a 20-minute doodle of my "persona" from Terraria. Or well, the armor set that I rush to the most as soon as the game starts is the Capricorn set, scoring myself some black ink, and a lot of the times I'll change out the chest plate to show "progression" in the game, haha. So, it's time for a bit of a ramble.
It's funny, I don't think I've ever really talked about the characters I play in Terraria. Or the "character" I play in Terraria as I usually make the same one over and over again. In all my previous Terraria fanart works, I usually just used the pink Kobold, and not really what... I play as, I suppose. This persona kind of "evolved" through time. I think I made hints that I wanted my online persona a few times to be more eldritch in nature, and I can probably blame terraria for that. (Big example is when my kobold persona, before looking like hyembs, was a spirit-like creature.) Sure, I drew myself as the Pokemon Primarina once, buuuuuut... It mostly stems from Terraria, and let me explain:
My first terraria character I ever really made that was more concrete was "The Scarecrow" which... I think the Halloween update came out around that time. I would have the pirate shirt, scarecrow hat, that sort of thing and dye it black. Then? Later on, down the years, I would be obsessed with the Lamia tail and making my Terraria character based off that. Then? When Journey's end came out with the extra content, I would go straight for the Capricorn set. With its goat-like properties appealing to me, I would always keep the helmet on 24/7 and I've... never really taken it off ever since release lmfao. I'm pretty sure the original design of the Capricorn is made by R-MK, so credit goes to them of course for making the design in the first place haha
Like sure, I made up a bunch of really silly lore for this character, or how this character "used" to be my original persona, buuuuuut... That's just for another day I guess-
...I think I rambled enough, have a good one everybody.
Copyright Stuff: Terraria belong to the folks over at Re-Logic, I, TwistedHensley, drew the fanart, it's just fanart even if it is an internet persona thing lmfao.
Other Disclaimer: You are allowed to share my artwork as long as I am credited, but do not upload it anywhere else, edit it and or mark it as your own if that wasn't common sense.
Oh yeah, Happy end of Mermay or Mer-may or-- whatever you want to call it
Another thing: Yeah, I did usually put some "builds" in terraria in the background in some of my posts, but uh- this time around? It's just a quick boss arena that I sketched out haha- why is it in the ocean? Well, why not?
Another thing x2: My goodness, it's been uhhhh over a week since I drew artwork, as yes, this one was made TODAY- I actually ran out of sketches from my portfolio to post daily and stuff or- I mean, the ones I felt "proud" enough to post. So uh- yeah, haha--
