The fully clothed version of my Chloe drawn in the costume of Asuka Otori of the manga series
"Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka".
It was a 14 volume mature-rated manga series, localized to the US by Seven Seas in 2017.
It had one season of an anime adaptation later.
It's a grim and gritty setting where the evil spirits invading Earth and the good magical spirits turning young women into Magical Girls to stop the invasion gets so violent and aggressive, the nations of the world establish the Spirit World Treaty Organization and officially instate the world's magical girls into their nation's armies, complete with military training.
In this story, where the war with the spirits ended, the war for the girls to repatriate began. Some turned PMC, others tried to go civilian. All will be needed when the weapons and artifacts of the evil spirits begin showing up on the black market for arms...
"Sailor Moon but with PTSD and crazy gore" begins to cover it.

These young ladies were drafted and trained into their respective armies in their home countries, as well.
Asuka Otori in particular was so good at fighting the Disas (evil spirit enemies) they kidnapped her parents and sent them back to her mob-style, a piece at a time.
She was the one to strike the deathblow on the final enemy in the first Disas war, at Mt. Aso, Japan... she understandably tried to resign peacefully by the time the manga proper begins, but...
