OC Inspired Cake Slices! (4) -- Sunshine

❌ DO NOT TRACE, REPOST, HEAVILY REFERENCE, RECOLOUR OR SELL MY ARTWORK FOR ANY REASON. ❌🐶🐺For Sunshine's cake slice, I used images of orange cakes as references as I found that to be a good starting point, especially with getting their orange colour into the design. While doing this, I found a cake that had orange slices across the base, giving me the idea to add them somewhere in the design. I struggled a bit for where to add their colours to make the design recognisable as them. However, after a bit of messing around, I decided to place the pink of their sweater on the inner section, as well as adding the greyish blue of their shorts down the side part of the cake. To get a bit more of their character across, I added in their necklace on the top of the cake, of which I think really helped with recognizability. Despite Sunshine's proving to be the most difficult to design so far, I had a lot of fun creating it and I am really happy with the outcome. I think it definitely gives off the vibes of their character! 🐺🐶
