These were some sketches for an upcoming picture I am working on featuring Lanolin and her mother. I've made it a bit of a gimmick to mold my OC to different 'universe style'. It's part of his 5th dimensional nature in terms of his concept, changing forms to fit the world he's part of at the time. So in the case of this IDW sonic universe, I've given my boy the 'ol sonic treatment. (I did something similar for a Lackadaisy peice which I'll be sharing the WIP of at the tail end of this post dump.

So what was the thought process for this guy? Ehh...I've been drawing Sonic style for a long while. Like, sonic content was some of the first things I ever drew. That, and various scenes of the titanic sinking. He's got a bit of Antionne from the old comics, a bit of Fang/Nack in there...some simple attire that ended up lending it to the idea of him being a zone foreman for hire. Whether it's contract work by the Eggman Empire, or general civic zone work, this Sonic style Misfit goes where the work is.
