My dog had to wear one after getting some growths removed that she was chewing or licking excessively. It wasn't pleasant. One, it made scratching her neck or face (which were fine) impossible. Two, she kept bumping into everything because it would swing back and forth. Doorframes, chairs, walls, the couch, etc. Three, she kept spilling her water, so we had to put it on the floor, that way she could get the cone "around" her water bowl. I don't know how to explain it other than if we were to avoid spills, she had to approach her water bowl with her head pointed at the ground.

It's the same with him now. He can drink fine. It's food we hand feed him until he can have it removed in a week. Eye infection and medicine. He can't rub his face on anything. Other than that he's getting better.

He still likes being carried like a baby even if he's not a puppy anymore.

He's not wearing it anymore. He's getting better.

Almost back to his hyper self. He sees me get a leash or mention car, he goes nuts.
