Beautiful reference sheet done by 
Caelpio for my sona reimagined as a Sonic the Hedgehog OC. Story for him is still somewhat in the works (recent events in the IDW comics necessitate a slight rework), but the short of it is that he is part of the Restoration, and part of a summoned-on-need tactical team geared towards internal security responses. The cybernetic hypno eyes were not given to him voluntarily (he was the victim of an experiment by rogue G.U.N. scientists), and it took some time for him to accept them.
Two bits of trivia for those who are interested: the "cybernetic hypno eyes" idea is actually recycled from an old idea I had for my fursona's origins almost exactly ten years ago, but which I never did anything with. The hat and goggles, meanwhile, are based on a hat and sunglasses that I wear IRL.
