This work was finished fairly quickly, though with errors abound. The most egregious mistake was not scaling the reference sketch to actual Valbaran proportions; this figure is far too tall and thin for a rather leggy and short kobold race.

Though this does show a Commando's (Valbaran soldier) pressure suit. It is tight fitting to regulate body temperature and sealed against chemical weapons. Armor over the vitals and (sizeable) thighs is provided by several-centimeter thick ceramic-carbon plates, designed to defeat accelerated plasma bolts. Screens on their wrist and head sheaths (not pictured) mimic minute muscle inputs of their feather displays, allowing Commandos to wordlessly convey a good deal of information quickly. These can be orders or commands but they also show the emotional state of the soldier.

Commandos are all women; men are too few to put into dangerous situations.
