I was attempting to work on other projects, but I couldn't get this darned bug out of my mind until I committed him to pen, so here he is! Grolxal is a mantis alk (i.e. anthro animal), but when travelling to places outside his homeland, he dons a fox disguise. Being a insect, he has two additional arms hidden in his shirt, tipped with deadly, often poisoned claws. He takes his job as an assassin very seriously, seeing it as a way to pay tribute to his god. When he's not on an assignment, and sometimes even on the assignment, he writes stories and poetry. ...He isn't very good at it yet.

I'm not sure if I'll end up drawing other major characters for my novel like I did with Synchronicity. But when the creative juices start flowing, you can't fight the tide. I will say, I have learned a fair number of things while working on this drawing that I can apply to future ones. The definition of practice is doing one thing over and over again and expecting a new result, after all :3c
