You've been wandering in the dark of the forest for several hours now. Slowly you begin to hear the occasional sound of something moving fast through the trees, but it goes silent whenever you stop to listen. A shadow blocks out the beams of moonlight through the branches.

And then you hear it, the sound of branches snapping and the whoosh of something moving through the air. Out of sheer panic and instinct you manage to jump backwards, moments before something large hits the ground where you had just been standing. You fall on to your back, but your blood is pumping and you desperately sit up and point your flashlight at the thing in front of you-
