This may be a little premature with the arrival of Pokemon Legends Z-A coming around the corner. I gonna make a shot in the dark guess and say, I don't think we are gonna get regional variants for the ZA Starters, we are probably just gonna get new Mega Evolutions, which is still welcome, I just hope they give a major buff to Meganium.
I bring this up cause I named this character Eleonore, because of what is very likely the reason that Totodile is a Starter in Kalos. In 1984 a baby nile crocodile was found in the Paris sewers before being relocated to the Paris Zoo and becoming something of a Celebrity. That Crocodile was given the name Eleonore! She is about 41 now and thriving in her new home.
