Metztli Tochtli is a Xolopilti warrior who was captured in battle and taken as a slave with magical binding cuffs that prevents them from becoming ethereal and just phasing away. They were forced away from their twin, and made to fight in a gladiator-like arena, but they know that their twin is on her way to help, so until then they are willing to wait for her and survive each match till they are reunited.
Metztli is considered a sort of an oddball of their family due to their lack of innate magical prowess, while their sister is considered a magical prodigy. She doesn't hold it against Metztli though since they still share a twin bond. She is sure Metztli will find her own talent soon, and they have gotten very good at martial weapons and fighting.
