YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally. I have finished this. I lost count of how long I've been working on this after 2 months. It's probably close to 3 now. I started this when I was still in school.
"As the sun sets, a lone drifter approches the edge of a small cliff, and sees a town in the distance. To the west where the sun is setting (the top left of page) there are the great mountains of this region just starting, as well as a small forest of trees. To the North is where some native tribes are. To the East and South there are the great plains of the west; with equally great expanses of grass and animals."
This gives a sence of scale of the comic. This is based on a region on the U.S., and will be talked about in the story. (looks better in person though)
About this piece:
The grass is all hand done. Took forever, but was the only good looking way I found of doing it.The original size is giagantic on here, but please view in large (this is set to 1600px, original is 6000+) This goes along with my other concept art found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5707089/ . This is the second full drawing I've done. This means it took up the whole page, none of the page was blank, not even the edges. The first full one I did is here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5695923/ . I learned alot about detail on this one. If you are doing something like this, I have advise and tips if you want any.
I relized the other day what this and the other drawing I did for my western comic is: Concept Art. Appropriately, this is a perfect title for this and the others I will be doing before I start, so I can get a feel of how the drawings will look.
Done on copy papy with HB, HB2, 2B, and .5mm and .7 mm pencils

You have no idea how many times I redrew my tail, and the horse's rear feet XD Those two where the hardest to do. After that, just time to draw out all the little details such as the grass next to the horse, and the buildings with the people, animals, and carrage.
I would have never even thought about taking on a task such as this a year ago.
