Hi, here's an actually lore-relevant comic.
First and foremost, having a decently fast ground-type in this part of the game usually allows you to just sweep through Surge. Only problem I had with his first two mons was the uncertainty of Magnitude's power. However, the rolls were usually average, and that was enough to one-shot everything in front of Puffball.
Second thing to mention, yes. This is a two-part comic. I tried to fit everything in a single 6-panel comic, but it felt far too crowded and the narrative wasn't even comprehensible (talking as if the narrative in my comics was pristine lol). So, two comics for one battle. Why not?
Third, I know this is the part where I say that I'll upload the sprite for Puffball, since she's pretty much the MVP of this fight, buuuuuuuut... well, the drawing is old... and it sucks. Upon looking back to it, I realized that I had unconsciously changed the design A LOT in my last few comics, so I won't be uploading that sprite at all. I could do the same thing as I did with True Nido, and just dedicate a NSFW drawing to Puffball in the sake of redemption, but I wouldn't even know how to begin drawing an angry, spiky ball of fluff in a lewd way.
Finally, remember that one comic I made about drawing Beast in an explicit way? No? Well, I did. And it's already done (censored and uncensored). I'll probably upload that next week just to keep a constant schedule, but yeah. Just letting you, person reading this entire description, that such drawings are coming. (That was a lot of text.)
