~~ Marry the friendly Mightyena was so kind to bring me back to the Hoenn region, and decided to stay with me for sometime, to help me get relaxed a little, after all the harsh travelling I experienced in the much colder Sinnoh region. After we arrived, using one of Captain Stern's old ships he referbished and sent to us so we could get back on Hoennese mainland, we figured we could pretty much start over with an empty mind and soak in whatever adventure we would have on this tropical archipelago. Marry suggested we visit the nearest cavern, which just so happened to be Island Cave -- one of the caves infamous for hiding the Regi trio members. The friendly captain Stern said we would soon arrive on Route 105, just North of Dewford Town, and after a few minutes, we indeed arrived at the entrance leading to Island Cave.

Marry and I thanked the captain, after which he returned South on his way to Dewford and eventually Slateport. Once Captain Stern vanished in the distant waters with his small ship, we turned around, and I followed Marry into the cave. In it was another entrance, and we went in deeper into the cavern. The first thing we saw, was a lot of indecipherable symbols. ''This is braille'', Marry explained. ''Braille?'', I replied, ''can you read what it says?'' ''...No'', Marry said, ''but I remember from a couple months ago I think, someone in Slateport City told me about the method to unlock this chamber''. I watched as Marry started to lean against the cave's wall and then slowly walked across the outlines of the room in a counter-clockwise direction. ''What are you... doing...?'', I asked once Marry returned to the spot he started his loop from. ''This was the method I was told would open the next entr''-- {{{RUMBLE, RUMBLE, RUMBLE!}}} Before Marry could finish his scentence, the entire room started to shake, after which a door in the center of the braille tablet opened up. We went through, after which we entered another room, and... {{{BOOM...!}}} the gate shut down behind us! ''I think we're trapped'', I whispered. ''Hmm... there must be another way out'', Marry said. He continued to examine the walls of the chamber...

Suddenly, I heard a noise coming from behind us, and I turned around... only to be greeted by an enormous faceless abomination standing right in front of me! I backed up against the tablet, as a tall shadow started to loom over our heads. ''U-Uh... M-Marry...?'' ''Did you find another door?'', Marry replied. ''N-No'', I said, ''...I think we've got some company!'' ~~
