He's maw curled back into a false smirk. Gaze on the battlefield. Kimono hanging around his hip, sash holding it in place. His blade returning to the scabbard, once more ready to be drawn. The thrill of the fight. Pumping of one's own heart reminded him he was still alive. Blood rushing in his ears, deafened even his own mind. Nostrils flared, iron the only scent on wind.Lu was very kind and did this portrait of Kemuri while she worked on his reference sheet(s). If you want some really finely detailed reference sheets, you should check her out. I can't sing her praises enough for the work she's done with/for me.
