Abilities: He is a weapon-master crossed with martial arts, hard light manipulation and manifestation, chi training with the ability to empower/enhance his hard light powers further and reinforce it. He mainly can project his hard light into bullet projections. And he has heightened senses, heightened endurance(bullet proof level), and general heightened physical capabilities.

Weaknesses: Anything that might nullify superpowers or drain them, same goes for his reserves of chi. He is also mortal as they come, so even with his enhanced body and mind, he can still be brought down with enough damage.

Personality: He is very chill and "go with the flow" due to learning to trust in the Dao as a result of his training in the Namayoto Dojo, but otherwise passionate and earnest about being a hero and improving himself, with a healthy bit of curiosity to trying new things as life presents them to be experienced.

Background: Kevin/He has lived all his life in Coast City, born and raised. Life had gone as well as could be for him, he cleared his education with a solid GPA, and with a degree in hand, went to go find his place in the world. While he was still trying to do that, taking work at an office job to make ends meet, he found that he liked the profession... But would end up seeking ways to relieve the stress of that life. He found a worthy option in joining the Namayoto Dojo as a student, and life was good.

Then came the incident that brought powers aplenty to the planet as a whole, and Ardent was not spared the effects of that, as he came to find out he had the ability to control light and manifest it into hard light, especially in turning it into bullets that could be quite impactful. With these new abilities, he began a different training method under the master of the Dojo and renowned hero Wenyan Namayoto, or better known as the Jade Fang. With that tutelage, he came to harness his internal chi and uses it to bolster and enhance his powers of light, as well as delve into more specific martial prowess toward wielding tonfa as one of the city's superheroic defenders, Ardent! And to show his thanks to Jade Fang, he donned a costume quite inspired by the dragon.

Yet as he came to adhere to the flow of the universe and to go along with it, he would have a surprise in store courtesy of a fashionable French pine marten in red, blue, and gold.
