Ike gets to see more about nature since the sky was opened to him. Having his powers in flux he just needed time to relax himself and see if they settled or if they would change again.
Flying through the Blue is all that comes to mind for the new dragon. Even if he has been a dragon for several years. He is not born a dragon as some. He became a dragon due to some actions in his past.
Ike gets to see the skies with his own power and enjoy it. His armor making flight much easier cause his eyes gets covered and thus a much nicer view.
