Lady Anaideia The Official of the Pleasure District

Background: Lady Anaideia is an Imperial Official bureaucrat who runs a the Pleasure District of a trade city outside the capital which she hates. She was born and raised in poverty, her mother passed away when Anaideia had just become an adult and inherited all of her mother's debts and contracts. As per one of her mother's contracts, she was forced to work for the leader of a criminal gang and was deeply traumatized. She vowed to never live in such dire conditions ever again, and would climb the social ladder, and gain the recognition of the circle of nobles even if she needs to burn every bridge and claw every obstacle along the way.

She was an brutal mother to her first son Decipula raising him while still trying to earned her a lot of recognition to move up in ranks from the gutters of society to working as a member of the local government, and looking for any means for upwards momentum. When Decipula was accepted as an Elite Imperial Claw Knight of the Empire it did a lot for Anaideia's reputation and position taking a lot of credit for her son's success, and then berating him relentlessly when he was discharged due to half his body being scared in battle.

When she had her second son Stranno, she was in a better position. Stranno did not have to experience poverty, but instead of being happy that her child didn't need to experience the suffering she has, Anaideia became incredibly jealous and in a fit of envious rage she tore off her son's wing while he was still a hatchling. Later she ended up selling her son to the Legion which became an open secret of the Pleasure District. Most dragons knew and liked Stranno, and they knew something happened to him, but nobody could pin anything exactly on Anaideia so it became a rumor that grew out of proportion and changed details every time it was retold making it harder to tell what was the truth.

Personality: Anaideia is a very cutthroat and self centered dragoness who is always looking for the most gain wherever possible. Whether that is sleeping with a self proclaimed Miracle Doctor, profiting her oldest son's injuries off, or selling her child to secret society
