after watching moomin 1990 again and seeing a drawing made by littlestar80 , i wanted to try and draw the hattifatteners. :}
i also tried a new style of shading too. and i added little my. :D the background was a bit tedious, but i wanted to try something "new" and i think it came out okay. :D

backstory of this drawing, it is based off "the secret of the hattifatteners". darci wanders off away from the others, being curious. little my, who is also curious, decides to follow him. upon exploring, they noticed a small group of glowing hattifatteners. darci, blissfully oblivious and unaware of what these creatures are, would assume they were just poor lonely critters and wanting to help them. however, little my looks a bit skeptical of the mysterious creatures.

little my: i don't know, darci. they don't look very friendly.
darci, unfazed: they've must have lost their mother. i can help them.
little my: don't be stupid, they're probably going to eat you!
