Their own post of this art (see it here: https://www.deviantart.com/sin-ful-.....es-1164753660) adds a fuller, cute little bit of story to the transformation on display, so I don't see a need to repeat what they've already written out. Instead, thought I might add some o' my perspective having created this...
After drafting a design for lincubuse's Queen Whitestar, representing the 'space elf' Elysian Empire (https://www.deviantart.com/azure-lionheart/art/Elysian-Empire-Datasheet-COMM-1133540409) in his intergalactic worldbuilding, I was eager to doodle skebs for her three children, the youngest of them being the more down-to-earth, almost Disney-like ingenue Andromeda. They found her charming and suggested a comm of her being introduced to the more modern Federation society, & I figured "hey, why not?"
You can see she's wearing the royal colors of Whitestar, teal-greens & royal purples, but I felt some blues would emphasize her more demure & gentle nature as a princess- the dress also continues to be inspired by 1900's attire, and I tried to make its shape carry over to the more retro-future look as a Federation influencer w/ a green-to-violet gradient in her skirt inspired by the Space Groove skins of LoL... looking at it again, I wonder if some more flashy colors might've better emphasized her change, but I'm pretty happy with what's there already.
